The Elephant in the Room is an outrageous interruption.
Standing almost 4 metres high, this large-scale sculpture resides in a school hall for a period of a week, inspiring conversation and igniting critical thinking.
Preparatory and follow-up activities are available to participating schools.

With the support of The Arts Council of Ireland Touring Award 2026, THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM will be installed in 16 Primary Schools across the country in partnership with Riverbank Arts Centre, Backstage Theatre, Draíocht, Mermaid Arts Centre, Dunamaise Arts Centre, An Grianán, Roscommon Arts Centre, and glór.
